FAQ

Q?

Can anyone become a Car Club 500 member?

A.

No, in order to become a Member of CC500 the following is required: Own a car with 500+ HP (stock or modified).

Q?

Are members from outside the USA welcome?

A.

Yes! Everyone is welcome as long as you have 500+ hp! Our intention is to grow beyond Chicago, USA and expand to other states and countries both in memberships and partnerships!

Q?

Is this a Club just for wealthy people?

A.

Our members represent a very diverse demographic. We have many members who do all or much of the repair and modification work themselves and others who have learned from the Club as to what modification actions are required and (just as importantly) what is not. We are united by our enthusiastic appreciation of the engineering excellence and history of these special cars.

Q?

I want to rent one of your cars for my special event. Do you rent cars?

A.

The CC500 does not offer cars for rent. If you’d like to do so, you may wish to contact one of our members or do an internet search for vendors in your area.

Q?

I already own a 500+ car, so what’s the benefit

A.

Why not compare the driving experience of your own car with the cars in the Club? Get a feel for what's around, experience the latest models or go ahead and fall in love with a new brand. Membership to CC500 gives you access to a variety of exclusive cars that will complement your own. And remember, as our membership field grows, so too will our selection of super-cars.

Q?

What is involved in joining?

A.

The CC500 charges $100 a year for dues. This is payable in cash or check at any club event or online through our benefits and sign up page. You can find more information on our benefits and sign up page regarding the benefits of joining our club. Contact an officer for any further questions through the contact info page.

Q?

I know absolutely nothing about cars and only drive my 500hp+ beast, should I join the club?

A.

The club is all about learning and meeting new people. Even if you don’t know what a transmission is, everyone is encouraged to join the club.
